MY STORY

My name is Dane Durrant, and I’m a digital designer and professional mini painter. I work to create eye catching imagery with an emphasis on legibility and color. I believe in the human element of design, and with the advent of AI, I believe it could be a valuable tool, so long as it does not inhibit the designer’s learning.

After a couple years at Brigham Young University studying English, I decided that my heart did not have the passion for literature as much as it did for design. I’ve been painting miniatures since high school, and figured I could transfer some of those skills to the digital world, and along the way, improve my miniature painting skills as well.

I attended Mountainland Technical College in Lehi, and have been creating both portfolios ever since. I always strive to build up my skills and techniques, as well as always being open to learning more programs.
